Matthew 19:5-6;

And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? 

 6. Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.


Two shall become ONE, for this to happen, I see;

-LOVE

-SUBMISSION

-RESPECT

-SACRIFICE


Before Marriage, both parties must have a MUTUAL CONCLUSION that they will be ONE, which means, it won’t be about JUST YOU again, but US.

It won’t be this is HOW I AM, I CAN’T do this for you, it will be this is HOW WE SHOULD BE, WE must DO THESE for OURSELVES.


As a lady/guy, if you know you are not ready to BECOME ONE with your partner, permit me to say, MARRIAGE is not for you😁, there are times you will need to SACRIFICE in Marriage, it is not a time to be SELFISH at all, it is a time that, anything you want to make a decision, you think about YOUR PARTNER, it is no longer ‘I’ but ‘US’.


Majority want to enter Marriage with the plan of this is ME, it is about ME, just ME, if you are that kind of person, you need to reset your MINDSET.


I’m not saying you still won’t consider yourself, but don’t ever forget that you are ONE.

The ‘I DO’ you want to say is a COVENANT, that is why you really need to know what Marriage is all about.


It goes beyond, I JUST LOVE HIM/HER, after LOVE, what else?

Some people can LOVE YOU and still not want to be ONE with you cos they are not ready to flow with what it takes to be ONE, what kind of LOVE is that?


So, before you take that BOLD STEP of going to the Presence of God, are you truly ready to be ONE with your partner?


Husbands, LOVE your WIFE.

As a wife, you SUBMIT to your HUSBAND.
